Dental Health

Dental and oral health is an essential part of your overall health and well-being. Poor oral hygiene can lead to dental cavities and gum disease, and has also been linked to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Maintaining healthy teeth and gums is a lifelong commitment.  Call us and make your dental appointment today!

Hygiene

Our dental hygienist will clean the tartar and plaque off of your teeth, followed by polishing.  Hygienists may take X-rays of teeth and gums, provide patients with a fluoride rinse, and/or apply sealants to the teeth to ward off cavities. We will review ways to care for your teeth and overall health at home, offering tips on ways to brush and floss, and on what foods to avoid or to eat for a healthy mouth.

Oral Cancer Screenings

Early detection of oral cancer can improve a patient's chances of successful treatment. That's why many dentists recommend having regular oral cancer screenings that examine the entire mouth. Adults over the age of 20 should have a screening every three years while those over 40 should have annual screenings.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride treatments are professional treatments containing a high concentration of fluoride that a dentist or hygienist will apply to a person's teeth to improve health and reduce the risk of cavities.

Extractions

There are many reasons why you would need a dental extraction, including tooth decay, damage, or serious injury. The dentist will simply pull the tooth to ensure that it doesn’t cause damage to the other teeth or gums.

Periodontal and Gingivitis Treatment and Cleaning

Periodontal diseases are mainly the result of infections and inflammation of the gums and bone that surround and support the teeth. In its early stage, called gingivitis, the gums can become swollen and red, and they may bleed. Our staff can provide treatment and cleaning for patients suffering from periodontal diseases.

Teeth Whitening

If you're looking for a brighter smile, make an appointment to have your teeth whitened! Our staff are happy to serve and send you off smiling!

Dental Restorations

If your teeth are missing, decayed, weakened or fractured, you might need a dental restoration. Examples of dental restorations include fillings, crowns, implants, bridges and dentures.
